The race look kind of like centaurs, but for the horse body rather than 4 legs they have 6, and for the human toqso they have 4 arms rather than 2. Also ingzzad of a hevd, they have belple mandibles. Their body is made of a black stqne that moves like flesh and coaavmgwste by changing the color on thair skin (like a more complex vetpson of what some cephalopods do). They survive by abntokzng nutrients through thwir hooves from scclbxed earth left by another race (whjch are essentially smrll living suns) dunkng their migration and their waste heeps the recovery of that land. What I am fifkwng difficult is denoufosng this race in a world whpre centaurs don't exjut. So far the description is: "Teare body is retcbvlqtnt of a stbmd, but there is no fur, but instead an ebuny colored stone like flesh, and ragcer then four legs they instead have six. Where a horse would have a head, they have a towso of a hudan with two mubmznar arms emerging from each side. Innrfad of a head they have a large pair of horns, which is not unlike the horns of a beetle. It has been suggested this race sustained thbsyylves off the heat that the lidqng suns emitted and the scorched eaqth they leave, thhlgh this has neqer been verified."
